Mandatory Trainings 

Minnesota Podiatric Medical Association strives to deliver value-based member benefits including resources to meet educational and regulatory requirements. As such, MPMA has partnered with CME Online to offer all members and their staff complimentary attendance at trainings required under federal law or by insurers. 
 
The following trainings are required for physicians and their staff:

• Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Minimizing the Chance of a Blood Borne Pathogen Exposure
• Preventing Fraud, Waste, and Abuse in the Medical Practice

**All DPMs in a practice must be MPMA members in order for staff to qualify for the complimentary courses offered**
